Ariana Grande doesn’t want you to critique her physical appearance. any other person’s
In a TikTok video that she shared on Tuesday, Ariana Grande addressed “concerns” that people had with her appearance and pleaded with them to stop making comments about other people’s bodies.
The “Positions” singer posted the video in reaction to online commenters who had previously criticised her appearance on social media, calling her “sick,” “unhealthy,” and underweight.
“I don’t frequently do this. It bothers me. In the video, Grande declares, “I’m not good at it.
It was “the unhealthiest version of my body” that Grande said they were “comparing to my current body.”
Many have discussed the “Dangerous Woman” artist’s physique in addition to circulating old pictures of her when she was younger and asserting that she appeared healthier then than she does now. On Tuesday, though, Grande said that the pictures really show the “unhealthiest version” of her figure.
When I looked the way you would consider healthy, I was taking a lot of antidepressants, drinking heavily while taking them, eating terribly, and at my lowest point in life. But in reality, that wasn’t healthy for me,” she continued.
“I know I shouldn’t have to explain that, but I do feel like maybe having an openness and some sort of vulnerability… something good might come from it.”
Halle Berry also spoke out against body-shaming trolls earlier this week after sharing a selfie of herself drinking wine on a balcony while nude.
Imagine being in your 50s and still sharing nude photos for attention during menopause, when you could be hanging out with the grandkids, someone wrote in a now-deleted tweet, as reported by E News. The concept of ageing with dignity has disappeared.
In a later, deleted tweet, Berry responded, “Did you guys know the heart of a prawn is located in its head?”
